Aspiring business owners will discover what it takes to own a Marco’s Pizza® franchise as seen recently on “Undercover Boss”
The hit CBS TV show Undercover Boss can often motivate entrepreneurs to pursue their own business dreams. Since Marco’s Pizza President and Chief Operating Officer Bryon Stephens is featured on a special episode Jan. 29, Marco’s Pizza leaders in Las Vegas want to help aspiring business owners make their dreams come true. Less than a week after the episode airs, Marco’s Pizza is offering a behind-the-scenes peek at “a day in the life” of a Marco’s Pizza franchisee at an Open House event — 4-8 p.m., Feb. 4.
At the open house, you’ll have the opportunity to become a part of one of the fastest-growing pizza franchise chains and discover what it takes to own a Marco’s Pizza as seen on Undercover Boss. In the episode, Marco’s Pizza President and Chief Operating Officer Bryon Stephens goes undercover as a bearded employee named “Jay.” He works as a Marco’s delivery driver, cashier and pizza maker, and he even loads trucks late at night at the company’s distribution center in Toledo, Ohio. Along the way, he gets a firsthand look at the business model’s strengths and challenges, as well as the personal and professional struggles of employees and franchisees.
“Our mission is for Marco’s Pizza to be the pizza of choice, the employer of choice and the business partner of choice,” Bryon says. “Everything we do revolves around that mission. Being on Undercover Boss provided a golden opportunity to get an inside look from the perspective of the employee, the franchisee and the customer. The discoveries I made during the journey were eye-opening.”
The Open House on Feb. 4 is one more way that Marco’s Pizza fulfills that mission. Guests will get to meet the “Undercover Boss,” participate in an informal Q&A about franchising, learn about locations that may be available in the Las Vegas area and talk with other franchisees, area representatives, the director of real estate and chief development officer.
