Mike Jaynes
Vice President of Sales, Research and Development
As vice president of sales, research and development for Marco’s Franchising, LLC (Marco’s Pizza), Mike Jaynes manages the opening and promotion of new stores; product research, development and testing; and the creation and deployment of online employee training programs. Jaynes joined Marco’s Pizza in 1988 as a district manager, impressed with the company’s focus on fresh, quality pizza.

He was first responsible for Marco’s Pizza stores in Toledo, Ohio, but Jaynes was soon promoted to area director of the Cleveland market, which he helped grow to 45 locations.
Jaynes was later promoted to vice president of Marco’s Pizza, responsible for expanding company-managed store locations in key Ohio and Indiana markets and involved in all aspects of store operations and management. In 2004, Jaynes assumed his current role to lend his in-depth Marco’s experience to the areas of sales growth, product development and new store openings.
Prior to joining Marco’s Pizza more than 20 years ago, Jaynes gained valuable restaurant operations experience during five years with Wendy’s International Inc., in a number of roles ranging from crew member to supervisor of multiple regional locations and store openings.
Jaynes’ favorite Marco’s Pizza topping is pepperoni.
