Q: Why should I franchise with Marco’s Pizza®?

Q: Why do you think you will succeed in such a crowded segment?
A: Because there are soooo many pizzas out there that do not have any taste. The consumer’s taste buds have been lulled to sleep and there is ABSOLUTELY room for a Fresh Authentic Italian Pizza that provides gourmet quality at a better value and truly tastes GREAT!

Q: Why do you think you will achieve your growth goals?
A: First, it is based off the foundation of the answer to the question above, but from there, we have spent that last 26 months conducting a case book study on dissecting every element of our operations, the business model and the Brand to ensure that we are prepared to grow. We are ready, we have been working the plan for the last year and we have the personnel that are making our goals come to life every day!

Q: What do you think is key to your growth?
A: The collection of top Executives and Managers that we have attracted to our Brand. As stated by the editors of Franchise Times and Nation Restaurant News – we employ a Who’s Who of the Top Officers and Managers – click on the Leadership Team Navigation Button, spend some time exploring the background of our Officers – it is impressive with a wide array of diverse backgrounds.

Q: Why do you think all these Top Officers came to Marco’s.
A: They saw the potential of a business model that works and is in the financial sweet spot to develop on the Franchisee level.

Q: What do you think will make you stand out?
A: You need to see our stores, our boxes and taste our product. There is no one that interacts/visits with our stores without commenting on how different and pleasant the experience is. We stand out amongst the crowd – spend some time visiting our Virtual Tour Page

Q: Is there assistance along the way – for example in site selection?
A: You bet, your success is our success, so we will help you out in every aspect you need. As it comes to site selection, our new store development and franchise staff will assist you in site selection and lease 
negotiations, if needed.

Q: How big should my prospective site be?
A: Our minimum requirements for a Carry-Out and Delivery store is 1200 square feet; ideal is 1400 square feet. As you will see though on the Virtual Tour Page – some stores have seating for dine in lunch and dinner and will require additional square footage. We will work with you to determine the optimum square footage needed depending on the specific characteristics of your chosen trade area.

Q: Do you sell multi-unit agreements?
A: We absolutely do if all the requirements are met. Typically we will work with you to develop a Business Plan to determine how many stores you need to achieve your goal and then put together a plan to acquire that number of stores. We grant exclusive multiple unit territories based on territory approval, development plans and your capital position. This would allow 
you to have a large territory, for your exclusive expansion, in accordance with a specific predetermined development schedule. There is no discount for purchasing multi-units since our Franchise Fee is one of the lowest in the Pizza or QSR Industry of comparable concepts.

Q: Where will I find my food suppliers and equipment?
A: Marco’s has arranged food and equipment suppliers for your use from coast to coast. These suppliers meet all of Marco’s specifications. Standards have been set for all equipment that will be needed. Marco’s can recommend an equipment distributor that is already familiar with our requirements, or you can look on your own as long as the equipment meets or exceeds our standards.

Q: How long will it take to get open?
A: After your location has been secured and approved, it can range between 3-6 months.

Q: What kind of training program do you have?
A: Marco’s Pizza has an extensive training program. The length of your training period is based on your prior experience and how quickly you learn the Marco’s System. Our training is done in 
various locations to give you a wide variety of situations to deal with. From pizza making to store auditing, we will teach you all that is needed to operate a Marco’s Pizza store. During the first week of operation, we will assist you in training your new staff for your new location.
